Things to Do Near Park Guell
Park Guell pairs well with the rest of Gaudi Barcelona and the lively district at its feet. Whether you have a few spare hours or a whole day, here is how to build your visit out into a richer itinerary.
Gaudi landmarks
The Sagrada Familia is the natural companion to Park Guell and a combo ticket covers both timed entries in one day. Down in the Eixample you can also see Casa Batllo and Casa Mila, two more of Gaudi most famous buildings, within a short metro ride of each other.
Viewpoints and the Gracia district
Before or after the park, wander the squares of Gracia for its village feel, independent shops and terraces. For an even bigger view over the city, the Bunkers del Carmel viewpoint is close by and one of the best free panoramas in Barcelona.
Day trips from Barcelona
If you have more time, Barcelona is a great base for day trips, from the mountain monastery of Montserrat to the beaches and historic streets of nearby coastal towns. These work well on a separate day rather than squeezed in with Park Guell.
